Device Forensics
The volume of data that can be stored on mobile devices has increased massively over recent years and with it the availability of mobile Internet access. Even on fairly low-end devices users now have access to data and data storage which would have been unthinkable only a short time ago.
Hand held device forensics was once the domain of law enforcement and the security services, but this is no longer the case. The forensic analysis of these devices is a key component of any investigation - be it from a HR perspective or an employee stealing vital company data.
Our Hand Held Device Forensic service uses industry leading hardware. Our forensic specialists are experts in the secure analysis of digital media and Electronically Stored Information (ESI), and are able to recover this data in a manner which complies fully with the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) guidelines, International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, (IACIS) and Computer Analyses and Response Team, (CART).
We can provide investigators with all of the evidential data which may be contained on the device. This could include images, web-based email, and chat logs plus any other data that the user may have copied onto the device, including copyright protected data. We can also provide the data in a number of different formats to allow for ease of inclusion in litigation review solutions.
