Narendra Sahoo: Founder and Managing Director
Naren has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry of which the last decade has been dedicated to VISTA InfoSec. His professional qualifications include CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Assessor.
He is very well versed with globally recognised standards such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, ITIL/ISO 20000, COBIT and BSI-Germany. He has provided GRC consulting and reviews for large software development, Banks, Research and Development companies and BPO organizations in India and overseas. He has audited, designed and implemented a wide variety of Information security and networking technologies such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Content Filtering Systems, Proxy servers, Mail servers, Web servers, Antivirus Servers, Wireless Networks (LAN/ WAN), routers, switches, and also operating systems such as Microsoft, Linux and Solaris. He has conducted network and security audits for premier organizations such as Reliance Energy, Government of Maharashtra, Reserve Bank of India, ICICI, Saraswat Co-op Bank, etc.
He is external faculty to SP Jain Institute of Management Research on Risk Management and a speaker at the Computer Society of India as well as ISACA on topics of Networking and Security. He is Subject Matter Expert to NIIT and has co-authored several books on the subjects of Networking, Operating Systems, Security, System Integration and Open Source Security Tools.
Ritesh Pothan: Director - Strategy
Ritesh has over a decade and a half of experience in Information Technology, Infrastructure and Security Management with the latter part, at the technology helm of a public limited organization servicing Fortune 500 clients. A state engineering topper in Computers, he holds a Master’s degree in IT and has worked in the IT industry on both sides in both consulting and customer roles.
He started his career in project and network management for a pioneering software development firm, with subsequent stints in computing magazines servicing end users and the channel. Over the last decade he has engaged with local and international organizations managing their technology and security requirements. His intrinsic expertise in conceptualizing and deploying Technology and Security Strategies for client data compliance and network management has been well appreciated at senior most levels.
He brings to the organization, extensive experience in engaging with International Counterparts in Information Security and Information Technology for some of the world’s largest BFSI, Travel, Electronics and PC Manufacturers.
Rohan Patil: Manager – Security Management Services
Rohan Patil joined VISTA InfoSec in 2005 to lead its next phase of growth as company expands its business, strategic service offerings and Innovation through R&D. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Mumbai University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Mumbai University. He has 8 years of experience in Information Security field. He has extensive experience and knowledge of Operating Systems, Databases, Networks and programming experience. He looks after the Project management activities and also leads the technology and security consultant teams at VISTA InfoSec. Prior to joining the company he was assisting in Investigation (Cyber Forensics, Frauds, and Data Recovery); Training Law Enforcement Agency; Information Security Awareness Programs at India Cyber Lab
